GROUND PENETRATING RADAR-GPR SURVEYS- UNDERGROUND UTILITY IDENTIFICATION

Before any new development works ,it is essential to understand type and location of existing underground utilities to avoid future damage to infrastructure and financial loss.
We use number of sophisticated methods to help you solve your geophysical survey needs to provide unmatched and reliable utility identification of all types of utilities upto 5 meters approximate depth:

GROUND PENETRATING RADAR (GPR)
GPR is an electromagnetic method that detects interfaces between materials with differing electrical properties. The instrument produces a continuous cross-section of subsurface reflections that can be viewed by the operator in real time or downloaded to a laptop and post-processed for more thorough analysis. GPR is able to detect both metallic and non-metallic objects.

ELECTROMAGNETIC PIPE/CABLE LOCATOR (EPL)
Electromagnetic (EM) instruments utilize electromagnetic transmitters and receivers for the detection of subsurface metal and lateral and vertical variations in electrical conductivity.

ELECTRONIC TOTAL STATION (ETS)
ETS – This is a land survey instrument which helps in collecting on ground information and used for base map creation as per geo-locations.

Advantages of GPR Survey:
  • Using GPR we can detect/scan metallic & non metallic utilities underneath.
  • This survey method is Non-Destructive and non intrusive.
  • Low on Cost and non-destructive, Fast and extremely accurate.
  • Easy to operate and safe.
  • Use of GPR is most reliable & safest way to determine underground utilities.
  • With GPR Survey, we can avoid unnecessary digging & excavation at
    construction site.

GPR Survey serve:
  • Utility Mapping for Urban/Rural Development Projects, Laying of new infrastructure like OFC, Power Line, Gas Line, Water Supply or Sewer Network etc.
  • Sub-surface utility mapping/detection
  • Locating underground cables and Identification of Buried objects.
  • Archeological Survey and underground metal detection.
  • Municipal / Development Authorities pre excavation works
  • Metro and Similar Mega structure pre excavation works
